MBKセンター（マーブンクロンセンター）は、バンコクを代表する老舗ショッピングモールです。広大な売り場に2500もの店がぎっしりと詰まっていて、ほとんど店舗が数平方メートルしかないような小型店です。お土産探しにはぴったりです。6階にはフードコートがありまして、タイ料理を中心にベトナム、インド、ベジタリアン、ハラールなどのテナントが入っています。概ね100～200THBでお安く手軽にタイ料理を楽しめます。
こちらのフードコートの利用方法は、事前にクーポン（プリペイドカード）を購入して、お店で料理を注文したらそのカードで支払う方式です。クーポンは100THB単位で発行してくれて、余ったら払い戻してくれますので、少し多めにチャージしておくと良いと思います。店舗では指で示しても大丈夫なので、タイ語がわからなくても問題ありません。いただいたSteamed and Fried chicken with riceはとても美味しかったです。
MBK Center is a long-established shopping mall that represents Bangkok. There are 2,500 stores crammed into a vast sales floor, and most stores are small, only a few square meters. Perfect for looking for souvenirs. There is a food court on the 6th floor, with tenants mainly serving Thai food, but also Vietnamese, Indian, vegetarian, and Halal food. You can enjoy Thai food easily and cheaply for around 100 to 200 THB.
The way to use this food court is to purchase a coupon (prepaid card) in advance and pay with that card when you order food at the restaurant. Coupons will be issued in units of 100 THB, and if you have any left over, you will be refunded, so I think it's a good idea to charge a little more. At the store, you can just use your finger, so there's no problem even if you don't understand Thai. The Steamed and Fried chicken with rice was very delicious.
