シンガポール名物のチリクラブを食べるなら外せないお店、珍宝海鮮（JUMBO Seafood）。今回は Jewel Changi Airport の店舗に行ってきました。巨大な滝のあるあの建物の中で、本格中華シーフードが楽しめるというだけで、すでにテンションが上がります。
お目当てはもちろんチリクラブ。大きな蟹をたっぷりのチリソースで煮込んだ看板メニューで、辛さの中にも甘みとコクがあり、濃厚なのにくどくない。手をベタベタにしながら夢中で食べてしまう一品です。
そして今回いちばん感動したのが…

チリクラブのソースにミーゴレンを混ぜた瞬間。
ミーゴレン単体でも十分美味しいのですが、残ったチリクラブのソースを絡めたら、これがもう別次元。甘辛いソースが麺にしっかり染みて、旨味が一気にブーストされます。蟹の出汁が効いた濃厚ソースと麺の相性が最高で、
「あ、これ正解だわ」
と思わず心の中で呟くレベル。
これはぜひ試してほしい食べ方です。
店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で、スタッフの方も親切。観光客でも安心して楽しめる雰囲気なのも嬉しいポイント。空港併設なので、到着後すぐ or 帰国前ラストシンガポールにも使いやすいです。
If you want to eat Singapore’s famous chili crab, you can’t miss JUMBO Seafood. This time, I visited the restaurant at Jewel Changi Airport. Just being able to enjoy real Chinese seafood inside the building with the huge waterfall already made me excited.
My main goal was, of course, the chili crab. It’s their signature dish — a big crab cooked in plenty of chili sauce. The sauce is spicy, but also sweet and rich. It’s full of flavor but not too heavy. You end up eating it with your hands covered in sauce, completely focused on the crab.
And the thing that impressed me the most was…
mixing the chili crab sauce with mee goreng.
Mee goreng is already delicious on its own, but when I mixed it with the leftover chili crab sauce, it became something on a totally different level. The sweet and spicy sauce soaked into the noodles and boosted the flavor. The rich crab sauce matched perfectly with the noodles, and I couldn’t help thinking:
“Oh, this is the right way to eat it.”
I really want everyone to try this.
The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and the staff are kind and friendly. Even tourists can feel comfortable eating there. And since it’s inside the airport, it’s perfect for a meal right after you arrive, or as your last Singapore meal before flying home.
